Freya is the first moon circling the planet Brisingamen in the Zhu Que/Red Phoenix system
GEOGRAPHY
As fitting to it's namesake, the first moon orbiting the Border World Brisingamen is rather fertile and versatile. Freya, contrasting to the body it orbits, is covered with varying climates and terrain that almost all allow a variety of flora and fauna to thrive in. Due to this factor the moon was deemed as a wildlife reserve and was originally colonized for the purpose of reintroducing numerous animals almost lost to extinction during the Genesis from Earth-That-Was.
While the project was mostly a success the government stopped funding during the war and has yet to repossess their assets planet-side. The researchers on Freya remain loyal to their cause and spend most of their time in the wild researching and setting up locations for their work to aid in the growth and population-stabilization of the species on the moon, occasionally returning to a few dedicated towns and settlements for supplies. A vast number of people of various ancestry are present, yet due to the nature of involvement in the planet's ecosystem the majority of culture appears to have borrowed some ideals and behaviors to the more tribal ancestors found within Australia, South America, Africa, and Native America from Earth-That-Was.
